A. The Curious Owl is perfectly suited for middle schoolers. They would gain the most from the news articles and be able to discuss, understand and form an opinion. Making a habit of reading a newspaper increases the chances of better reading with good vocabulary. That being said, no one is too young to start reading the news or too old to stop.

A. Prices displayed include packaging, delivery costs, and taxes (where applicable). Options are available for subscriptions for the annual subscriptions (7th August 2026 to 14th May 2027) or in part for those who do not want back issues. Click here to see Issue Dates.
If our regular courier is unable to deliver, we’ll be in touch with alternative options and any associated extra charges before we proceed.

A. The Curious Owl newspaper publishes 32 issues a year so that it fits comfortably with the school calendar. Schools across India have different boards and different holiday schedules, and we want our newspaper to support learning without adding pressure during busy or break periods. By allowing space for school holidays and exams, we make sure readers have enough time to enjoy each issue. After all, having piles of unread newspapers isn’t helpful for anyone, it's better when every issue can be read, explored, and enjoyed at a relaxed pace.

A. You will receive an email confirmation of your order within 48 hours.

A. After your order has been processed (and paid for either UPI or Bank Transfer), you will receive a welcome note, and your first issue will either be dispatched on a Tuesday or Friday by 12 pm depending on when the order was placed.

A. The Curious Owl is printed in the early hours of Friday morning while you and I are fast asleep! Later that same morning, it’s packed and handed over to our courier partners in Goa, who then begin the journey to your doorstep. Around the same time, you’ll receive an e-newsletter from us to let you know it’s on the way. Delivery typically takes 5-7 days from dispatch, depending on your location. Please note: this time frame may be affected by public holidays, natural disruptions (such as heavy rain), or other unavoidable delays.

A. If you have entered incorrect details or want to change your subscription type, please be in touch with us (thecuriousowl.office@gmail.com). We will do our best to assist you with this. However, in some cases, we may need to cancel the order and ask you to resubscribe. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Please note any cost incurred by us, would need to be borne by you.

A. Refund and Cancellation CURIOUS OWLS PVT LTD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for SUBSCRIPTION. You may cancel your subscription package at any time up to 14 days after you receive the first edition of your chosen product (the "Cooling Off Period") by notifying us ( thecuriousowl.office@gmail.com ). We will refund your money after taking into account subscription costs incurred for those issues received. Please note that after the cooling off period has ended, you shall not be entitled to any refund in whole or part for any un-delivered part of the subscription.
