We the Curious Owls are first and most importantly parents. We have 5 inquisitive, hungry for knowledge young minds between us. They are the reason behind us starting our venture in 2014.
We looked for suitable newspapers for the children to read and came across NONE. And so, an idea was hatched.
10 years down the line we remain committed to our endeavour in providing your children and ours with fresh and interesting news stories they can trust and learn from every week in our award-winning current affairs newspaper.
We hope that The Curious Owl acts as a stepping stone to providing a seamless transition to them one day reading adult newspapers and being able to form their own well thought out opinions and critiques on what they read.
It may come as a surprise to know that the whole newspaper is written entirely by the two of us and we wouldn’t be too wrong in thinking we are one of the few newspaper publications registered with the Registrar of Newspapers India (RNI) with an editorial team of two!
Yes, we are an officially recognized newspaper. As of 31st March 2024, there are 17,573 newspapers registered with the RNI and we are one of them.
Warmly Anjali & VinniWe are mothers, who read, know what our children and their peers should be reading and be aware of. We would like to think we are detail-attentive and fastidious in the way we write and speak, and extremely passionate about The Curious Owl. We pride ourselves on writing honest news you can trust.
